Abstract:
The principle of high density resistivity method is introduced. Using this geophysical method to geological investigation of Laoshan Tunnel project, the strata and geological structures are identified. Meanwhile, the position and attitude of Yingzuishan fault are determined. An aquiferous fracture zone is predicted and is proved later on. The engineering practice indicates that high density resistivity method is an effective geophysical method for tunnel engineering investigation and the aquiferous epi-karst zone exploration.
