Abstract:
Structural geology , mainly related to compression-shear faulting , was supposed to have been the major control over the regional metallogenesis of the Huize Pb-Zn deposit.The continual open system under which the deposit formed was well recognized in the light of studies of Pb and stable isotopes H , O, C and S), fracturing and Pb-Zn mineralizing geochemistry .In essence , the fault system developed under the continual open system was the key to the activation and transportation of ore-forming elements, the formation and advection of ore fluids , and the emplacement of ore bodies.It is thus a crucial geological process for the formation of the Huize Pb-Zn deposit.
