Abstract:
Combined Model on the basis of the Finite Element Method and Multisurface Function was used to improve approximating precision and reliability in modelling abnormal height surface.When geodetic height is used to calculate normal height , simple model of Finite Element Method or Multisurface Function was always used to approximate abnormal height surface .The results of those simple model of GPS leveling are often unstable .Through calculation and analysis to the practical surveying data , it can be seen that CombedModel was considerable improvement over simple models in approximating abnormal height curved surface .The results indicate that the combined model has value in transfering GPS height to normal height .
