Abstract:
KL filtering is one of the important techniques in seismic data processing. Aimed at the issue how to make use of KL transform effectively in practice,this paperintroduced the approach of high precision event picking and alignment,implemented KLT via SVD algorithm, which makes KL filtering fit for separation and removing of arbitrarily curving event. The results of synthetic seismograms and real data indicate that the method can separate coherent and random noise effectively, enhance signal-to-noise ratio of seismic section. It is simple and practical.
