Abstract:
According to the geological background and temporal and spacial relationship of the ore deposits in the Beishan area of Gansu-Xinjiang-Iner Mongolia, which is an important mineral resources concentration area in west China, and based upon the comprehensive study on exploration and geological survey as well as new theory of geology, the ores in this area are grouped into three gradeⅢ metallogenic belts and eleven gradeⅣ metallogenic sub-belts. The three metal- logenic belts of gradeⅢ are particularly described for the purpose of supplying clue and basis to mineral exploration and geological survey. There exist numerous mineral occurrences and mineral clues as well as plenty of geological, geophysi- cal and geochemical anomalies which are expecting to be investigated and verified in the area.
