Abstract:
On the basis of hydrogeological condition of the studied area, the characteristics of chemical composition of lake water, river water and groundwater are analyzed. Comparing with the recharge water, the main changes of the composition of Bulong Lake are the marked increase of TDS and the concentration of various species, as well as the change of water type from HCO3·Cl to Cl·SO4·HCO3. The causes of these changes are the lake water evaporation, dissolution/precipitation of minerals, and adsorption/desorption of cations. The ion ratio analysis is used to evaluate the proportion of lake water evaporation. The result shows as much as 71.43% water has been evaporated in the lake which makes the concentration of species in the lake increase 3.5 times. The calculated results of mass balance show the main chemical reactions in the formation of lake water composition are the dissolution of salt and gypsum, precipitation of calcite, outgasing of CO2, and some ion exchange reactions.
