Abstract:
In order to further study the fault distribution and the tectonic division in northeast China, the features of the regional gravity field is analyzed in terms of the 1:2 500 000 contour map of Bouguer gravity anomalies. The studied region includes Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces and northeastern part of Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Based on the variation of the Bouguer anomaly and the corresponding geological data, 14 lithospheric faults and 11 crustal faults are recognized in the region. Three gravity anomaly regions, which are Xing'an, Songnen and Zhangguangcai Mountain, are divided according to apparent Daxing'anling and Yilan-Yitong gravity anomaly belts. The results can provide gravitational reference for understanding and research of the petrologic and mineral exploration of the studied region.
