Abstract:
In order to find the penetration resistance of surface sandy soils stabilized by polyurethane soil stabilizers, based on TST-70 constant head permeameter and self-made multi-hole permeameter, the stabilizers with different contents were sprayed on the surface sandy soils with different curing time, and the effluent time, effluent yield and permeability were measured under the conditions of sandy soils with the same or different thicknesses. And the mechanism of penetration resistance of the stabilizer was discussed. The results show that after spraying the stabilizers with different contents, the curing layers with different thicknesses are formed on the surface, and the penetration resistance increases; because the contents of the stabilizers increase, the curing layers are thickened, and the effluent time is longer, and the effluent yields reduce under the condition of the same curing time; because the curing time increases, the effluent time is longer, and the effluent yields reduce under the condition of the same contents of the stabilizers; the addition of the stabilizers on the surface sandy soils has no influence on the permeability of soil and the growth of plant; the effluent yields reduce with the decrease of soil depth; the soil, which is stabilized by 7% and 9% contents of the stabilizers, has a good property of anti-seepage after the curing time of 6.0 h.
