Abstract:
Major function-oriented zoning(MFOZ)is an important spatial planning strategy to coordinate the relationship between social economy and resource environment through the classification and governance of territorial space. However, the impact of MFOZ on eco-efficiency is not clear at present. Based on the super-SBM model, standard deviational ellipse, variation coefficient and geographically and temporally weighted regression(GTWR)model, the evolving trends, spatial patterns, aggregation characteristics of eco-efficiency in Henan province from 2005 to 2018 at county scale and major function-oriented zone scale since the implementation of MFOZ were revealed, as well as primary driving forces affecting the spatial heterogeneity of eco-efficiency, in order to provide a scientific basis for optimizing spatial governance. The results show that ① the eco-efficiency of Henan province is low and has obvious positive spatial agglomeration, with the difference in eco-efficiency between counties showing a decreasing tendency; ② the average eco-efficiency of national key ecological functional zones is the highest, followed by national key development zones and provincial key ecological functional zones, and the average eco-efficiency of provincial key development zones and main agricultural products zones is the lowest; ③ the effects of land use diversity index, urbanization level, industrial structure, population density, local fiscal general expenditure amount on eco-efficiency exhibit significant spatial heterogeneity, often manifesting in strip or sheet spatial distribution pattern.
