Abstract:
As an important ecological barrier area in China, it is of great significance to study the impact of land use transition on ecosystem health in Weihe River Basin. Taking the sub-watershed as the research unit, a transition analysis framework including three dimensions of land use structure, function and dynamics was constructed, and the vitality-organization-resilience-ecosystem service(VORE)framework was used to establish an ecosystem health assessment system; through the local binary spatial autocorrelation and Spearman correlation analysis method, the spatio-temporal correlations between land use transition characteristics and ecosystem health in Weihe River Basin from 2002 to 2022 were systematically explored. The results show that ① from 2002 to 2022, the ecosystem health index(EHI)shows an evolution trend of decreasing first and then increasing in Weihe River Basin; ② from 2002 to 2012, information entropy of land use structure(IELUS)has a significant negative impact on EHI in the northern part of the basin, while land use intensity(LUI)shows significant positive and negative impacts in the western and southeastern parts of the basin, respectively; from 2012 to 2022, the impact of land use transition characteristics on EHI in the western part of the basin is more significant, in which IELUS and land use dynamic degree(LUDD)show a positive impact, while LUI shows a negative impact; ③ LUI has a significant negative impact on each EHI.
